44 Performance management system We have a robust performance management system which includes goal setting, regular feedback mechanism and annual review. All employees undergo yearly performance appraisal. Employees’ career aspirations and development needs are discussed during annual reviews. Our performance appraisal process provides opportunities for the employees to receive feedback in an open and transparent manner and it supports people to progress in their career while improving organizational efficiency and productivity. Performance focus As per the policy, 62%* of employees were eligible for performance appraisal during the reporting year. We conducted performance appraisals for all eligible employees as per our policy. The eligible employees who were appraised are categorized by levels & age groups as shown below: *The % is calculated on the basis of total employee count at the end of the FY. The cut-off date for inclusion in annual appraisal for a given FY is Oct 1 of that year. Employees who join after Oct 1, shall be included in appraisal for next FY.
