68 Education We firmly believe in the power of education and are committed to empowering individuals to unlock their potential. Through our initiatives, we partner with institutions to make education more accessible to neurodiverse children, children who dropped out of school and young adults from marginalized communities. In addition, we supported schools by providing resources and improving school infrastructure. Kaliyuvamane, Residential School in Mysore Kaliyuva Mane (meaning ‘Home for Learning’ in Kannada) is a free, residential, eco-friendly, co-educational, alternative school for children who have challenges with the conventional education system, such as school dropouts, children coming out of child labour, underprivileged children from rural communities, and dyslexic children. We have been supporting Kaliyuvamane in this journey for two years. Pustakaar We are supporting the running of mobile libraries in 5 public schools. Under this initiative, schools are provided grade-specific books for students to develop the habit of reading. The identified school are supplied with a renewed set of books at regular intervals. The program runs in the following 5 government schools: • Kolthur Primary School – 45 Students, Grade 3-5 • Kolthur High School – 220 Students, Grade 6-10 • Keshavaram High School – 100 Students, Grade 6-10 • Tumkunta High School – 20 Students, Grade 6-9 • Gachibowli High School – 308 Students, Grade 5 Hale Paresandra School Project We are supporting the construction of a new school wing in the Haleparesandra GHS (Govt High School) Paresandra village, Chickballapur district, Karnataka. The school needed additional classroom space, with one of its older buildings being in a dilapidated state. We funded the removal of the existing structure and constructed a new multi-storey building, with six classrooms spread across the ground and the first floor. The school is equipped to facilitate children’s education with a renewed environment.
